Benefits of having a baby in water

One of the ways of having a baby that isn’t common but is gaining in some popularity is water birth.  It isn’t the usual way of having a baby on a medical bed.But it is safe to use when delivering a baby.

So what we are going to do is take a look at this particular process of giving birth and looking at its advantages. These are going to come from experience that I have gained as a midwife in San Diego.  First of all water birth is the process of having a baby in water.A tub full of warm water is the usual place to do it.It is said to be good for the baby because the baby also lived in a similar environment for almost 9 months. It is one way for the babies to get adjusted because they also have been in water for almost 9 months.

There are also studies where it is shown to be beneficial in reducing birthing pains.  For women that is a big relief to here. Most of the time this procedure makes no use of medicine.  I have performed many without medicine as well as many other homebirth midwife San Diego I have spoken with.

Is water birth a safe way to deliver?Studies says that most of the time it is safe to use.Due to certain medical conditions,in some cases, it isn’t advisable to use. I have had that happen in my waterbirth San Diego service. Consulting a doctor first is the best thing to do.

Another benefit of undergoing water birthing is lessened skin tears. This can be very painful when giving birth. But undergoing through water birthing will reduce those pains.Because it calms the skin.

This kind of delivery can be the right choice for you if you just follow these steps. It has a lot of benefits for both the baby and the mother.  As always consult your doctor first to see if it right for you.

My Marriage Is Failing, What Do I Do?

Can I Save My Marriage? : Introducing the Three C’s

When two people get married, they should know that their life is not going to be perfect, or easy. The couple in its essences are two different people. These two people have their own personalities and are unique in their own way. They bring both of these to the relationship. When you have difficulties in your marriage you must realize that you need to continue to work through your problems. The amount of dedication you put into this shows your partner will help you both learn from the experience and you will ultimatly strenthen your relationship.

Some couples stop talking altogether and they begin to do things that drive wedges between them and their marriage. Because of this, we are going to briefly introduce the three top items that every couple must implement in order to save their marriage. When you see your marriage is failing, the first thing you must do to save it is restore your commitment of working together. To save your marriage, the last two things you must do is reopen the communication lines and seek counseling.

The First C: Commitment -

To really have a shot to save your marriage, both parties must have the desire to fix the underlying issues in the relationship and have a firm commitment to each other. A commitment to each other greatly improves the couple’s chances of rekindling and recapturing what they once had. A commitment is not what most think it is. It is not a attempt at something, and it is not a feeling. A real commitment says that you will try your hardest to save your marriage.  Commitment is a decision, the decision to make it work no matter what.

The Second C: Communication -

We know you’ve heard this several times before, and we’re here to tell you there is no getting around it. Opening the lines of communication between you and your spouse is crucial if you want to save you marriage. You must open these lines of communication, because so many marriages don’t make it due to the lack of communication between the individuals. Communication is expressing one’s feelings in a place that you and your partner feel safe and you feel you won’t be judged. To make the communication work, both people need to participate. Communication involves also seeing what your partner has to say to you.

The Final C: Counseling

The last step to saving your marriage is to get a couselor to help you work through the problems in your marriage. The counselor will not take sides, they will act like a middle man, and help you with your relationship. They will help you work through the challenges that you and your partner are facing. Your counselor would have experience, so that they would not take sides. The counselor you meet with can help you see what your partner sees, and understand their point of view. You could need their help you find your perspective of the relationship, and they could do that for you. The steps could save your marriage.

Smart Ways To Repair Marriage

The question on how to repair a marriage can be answered in different ways. This is because different problems occur at different times in a marriage and each calls for a clear understanding of the times.

Essentially while another person is searching for 10 secrets of a happy marriage another is in search of help about what do you do when the kissing stops in your marriage or how to save a marriage in crisis

Just as an example, younger couples tend to fight and argue about control issues while older couples fight about children and things like mortgage payments
Having said that let me provide you with a standard formula that you can use no matter the stage of your relationship

Identify the problem

You need to know what caused you start having problems in the first place. This looks easy but it isn’t really. I mean many people do not separate the difference between cause and effect. Take a pen and paper and write down all issues you can think of.In fact talk to your spouse to help you with some and list  his or her own. When you start discussing the problems don’t rush to be defensive when you are in the spotlight.

Set precise objectives

One of the recommendations on how to repair a marriage is to have a set of objectives that emanate from the identified problem. For example, if the problem is communication then the objective should be to start communicating more often

Set deliverable and time lines

When you are defining your objectives they should be realistic. Make them achievable, simple and measurable. If you set unrealistic goals you will be setting yourself up for failure, which may lead to divorce - believe me I know what I am talking about.

Find out if you need to put any money into fixing the marriage

People hate it when I bring up this last point on how to repair a marriage. Any relation including marriage needs to be looked after and this involves spending money.

Sometimes I say that the best thing I can invest my money in is my marriage. This can be buying books, videos about marriage, going to seminars or conferences, taking vacations, spending money eating out.

Is This Really Happening?

Have you noticed your partner getting home at odd times in the night? Do you notice the amount of company functions that your partner has gone to without you? Are they going out with their “friends” more than normal? These signs could lead to a secret that every couple is scared of, cheating.

Some Common Signs of Cheating

Is money missing? If your partner is hiding bills, only tells you the amounts to be paid, locks bills in files that you cannot get into, shreds them, or even has them sent to work, there is probably something going on that you don’t know about. Their attitude begins to change? Normally, they won’t want to spend time with their family, and their money becomes more important.

You feel avoided. They become annoyed with your kids, and their job.  They become defensive when you ask them about affairs, and they seem more secretive about things, and start to become lazy. Their daily routine begins to change and there are suspicious items, like gift cards and actual gifts. They begin to not want you touching their cell phone, and PDA. There could be unknown numbers or photos on these items. Are they coming home late and smelling like alcohol.

Other signs of cheating include them picking fights, stomping out of the house, not wanting to shop with you, not wanting to come with you to visit your family, and “forgetting” their wedding ring. You’ll start to notice a not familiar smell on their clothes, and you’ll notice that they care about how they look more than normal. They start to work longer hours and weekends and days off. They don’t answer their phone when you call, ever. They are on the phone more then normal, and they get messages long after you have gone to bed.

Your partner may turn the accusation around on you, and say that your cheating. Your partner may be less interested in sex. They may be figuring out your schedule constantly, so they can have their affair work out.

You need to listen to your head, and not your heart. This could end badly, and painfully for you if you don’t follow your feelings.

Marriage Counselor Helping You Keep Your Marriage

Many couples wonder if their relationship is worth fixing at all. Thousands of people live in an unhappy situation, pondering divorce or simply living in a perpetual state of disrepair. However, marriage therapy can help couples both young and old.

You may feel set in your ways or that your early years of romance are completely unattainable. Perhaps you have become two different people. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, the counselors say, as couples who weather the storm celebrate their golden years as the happiest time of their lives.

family marriage counselor
You should endeavor to find a marriage counselor to help you avoid painful emotional outbursts. If you or your spouse spends any amount of time shouting at each other, crying or getting stuck in a constant cycle of derision and nagging, then counseling for marriage can help.

Secondly, certified counselors provide added motivation to complete your plan to regain that romantic love again. Sometimes another person’s faith that your efforts will be successful is all you need to believe it yourself.

While these may seem like things you might be able to do on your own, the third reason to seek counseling is to gain access to knowledge and strategies to help you achieve your goals. Over the years there have been many studies into human behavior, which can help us recognize our patterns of behavior and remedy the underlying causes of our feelings.

Finding the marriage counselor can be very important to your success. Often couples look up a few numbers in the Yellow Pages or go with referrals from others. Be sure you choose your marriage therapy guide together, so there is no finger-pointing if the first counselor doesn’t work out.

marriage therapists
Look for marriage family counselors who have been in practice for at least seven years, who see at least 6-8 couples per week and who have specialized training. Be sure you find a therapist for couples and not just an individual therapist.

Also, it’s a good idea to find someone affordable and close by, so there are no excuses to skip a session. Next, call each clinic to determine which counselor seems sincerely interested in you? Find out how many sessions you’re expected to attend and what happens if you need to cancel or reschedule.

The cost of a marriage counselor varies greatly. Rates range from $75-$200 per hour, although some therapists will offer a sliding scale based on income. According to the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the average cost for counseling is about $100 per one-hour-session.

certified counselors
Typically, you’ll go in once a week for the first three months, which will run you $1200 for that period of time. Compared to psychiatrists and psychologists, family counseling is 60-80% cheaper. Additionally, the use of counseling for marriage has been show to reduce health care by 21.5%.

Also consider that divorces range from as low as $1,500 for a wholly uncontested divorce to $30,000 if it goes to court. According to Smart Money Magazine, the average cost is around $8,000 for an out-of-court settlement. Each week you’ll report your successes and failures to the counselor until your goals have been realized.

A Cure for a Broken Heart

Cure For a Broken Heart

People will tell you that love is fantastic thing. When someone is in real, true love they feel alive, young, happy, and energetic, and more. Love is said to bring happiness, but when you lose a loved one or when a relationship comes to an end, you feel hurt. This hurt is classified as a broken heart.

It’s called a broken heart, because people link hearts and love together. There are cures for these broken hearts, as we call them. Time, counseling, and finding a new love are the three cures to a broken heart.

How Would Time Help Us?

There needs to be time to heal these broken hearts and hurt feelings; a possible best healer of these is time. Any kind of a relationship in real. It involves feelings, and the heart. Because you have your heart involved in the relationship, these feelings you have cannot be turned on and off. The feelings are things that need time and patience. You can’t cure your broken heart in a matter of minutes or days. Your broken heart could take months or years to finally be cured.

But They Know Nothing about My Marriage

Now, to really cure a broken heart, you should use this method. It’s been proven to work. When you are in counseling, you talk to a professional about your emotional pain from the ended relationship. The professional you go to will encourage you to let your feelings out; they don’t want you to hold them in.

When you have a good counselor, they will often use their experience and education to help you. Their sessions should allow you to share your feelings in an open environment without feeling judged or ridiculed. It’s very important that you truely feel comfortable talking to someone about your pain from the break-up.

Let’s Fall In Love

If you get back in the social circle, it’s another great way to cure your broken heart. If you’ve lost a relationship, getting back into the social circle can help you a lot. Don’t go looking for someone to fall in love with, or to fill your empty emotional space, just be looking for friends, and don’t be shy when going out.

Case Study: Epson Stylus D92 Inkjet

Budget Epson printers of the past has always had a very cheap feel to them and it seems Epson have addressed this with the Stylus D92. The built quality of the machine gives a very good first impressive. Another problem with budget printers is the cost of the printer ink cartridges and judging by the cost of the genuine Epson D92 ink cartridges this is still an issue. A cheaper alternative is to use compatible printer cartridges which are widely avaible for the Stylus D92 and they’re a faction of the cost. The quality of print produced by the D92 is very good for such a cheap printer, not only doesn’t it print all the usual general documents like letters and emails but also high quality photos with pin sharp results. In order to achieve this high quality of print however requires the D92 to be in a reasonably high quality setting and as a result it makes the speed very slow. Even the most expensive inkjet printers are not fast at printing but the Stylus D92 is especially slow with small photo print taking over five minutes from start to finish in the highest quality setting. The speed is about the only thing that lets the D92 down but it is so slow that it becomes a big let down especially if your printing high volumes of documents in which case the D92 is simply unsuitable. The Stylus D92 is best suited to people who print regularly but in small quantities.
